Toby is a world class chef who luckily for us lives in Crystal Palace and has an interest in the local food scene. He developed the Burger we serve at Domali as an entry for a “best burger in London” contest. It came third among stiff competition and beat Gordon Ramsay’s entry!
After an initial tasting session we knew we had to have it. We arranged for him to come along and train our kitchen staff while we were closed for refurbishment. We had a lot of fun, learned a tremendous amount and especially enjoyed the but at the end where we got to eat them all!
Toby introduced us to his trusted Butchers; O’shea’s of Bermondsey osheasbutchers.com/about-us/ Their meat is high welfare, pasture fed and of the highest quality. Our Burger has 3 types of steak in it and is made to Toby’s exact specifications by O’sheas and delivered to us , the recipe is a secret so I am saying no more ! Just to ask you to give it a try.
